Pam Willenz 2000 reports that people who play violent video games can be more harmful than to those who watch violent movie or programs. They say by playing certain games such as Doom, it can increase the person's agressive thoughts. Kalning 2006 also carrys the same view. They have carried out a test amongst a number of teenagers and have come to the conclusion that by playing violent video games compared to non violent then it sets off activity in the amygdala part of your brain which deals with emotional erousal. Gee 2003, claims that video game violence is overblown due to the fact of real life issues that are going in the world for example - wars where people are getting killed by eachother all of the time.
